What's Virtual Console?

The Virtual Console is a unique feature of Nintendo's new Wii video game console that allows players to download games through the Internet.
The Virtual Console offers Wii users hours of enjoyment with classic games that were previously released for older-generation game consoles.
Hudson is now providing games for the Virtual Console from its extensive library of hits originally published for the TurboGrafx-16, a game console developed in collaboration with NEC Corporation (formerly, NEC-HE). In the near future, Hudson will be adding several third-party TurboGrafx-16 games to this lineup.

How do I get games for the Virtual Console?

  • Select the TurboGrafx-16 game you want from the Wii Shop Channel.
  • Use your Wii Points to download your selection.
  • You can buy Wii Points with a credit card or by redeeming a Wii Points Card.
