Actions

Jump The height of your jump depends on how long you hold down .
Attack The distance of your attack depends on how long you hold down .
Bravo Kick Press up on and to perform a diagonal forward and upwards kick.
Bravo Crawl Press left and right while holding down on to crawl.
Bravo High Jump To jump higher, hold and tap repeatedly while jumping upwards.

Press at the Title Screen to start the game.
When you run out of lives, you can continue your game by pressing at the Continue Screen. However, you can only continue a limited number of times.

The village of Nitta has been invaded by the Evil Army of Dr. Bomb, a sinister scientist who is plotting to take over the world.
Here to stop him is the heroic Bravoman, who has been given his powers by Alpha Man.
Thwart Dr. Bomb's plans and restore peace to the village of Nitta and the rest of the world!

The village of Nitta consists of 22 stages - action stages that take place above ground, and shooting stages that take place underwater.


Ground Stages
Defeat all the enemies and the Boss at the end of each stage to clear it.
Sometimes a Luck Symbol will appear after you defeat an enemy. Collect 10 of these to receive a Large Luck Symbol, which can be given to Lottery Man to receive an item.
You can also exchange a Large Luck Symbol with Lottery Man at the end of a stage to receive an Onigiri!
Keep in mind that Lottery Man does not appear at the end of every stage!


Underwater Stages
Underwater stages are side-scrolling shooters where Bravoman transforms himself into a sea creature.
Defeat enemies by firing missiles ahead, or dropping depth charges below.
Defeat the boss that awaits you at the end of the stage to clear it.
Obstacles such as rocks are harmless but if you get caught in between a rock and the left edge of the screen, you'll take damage.

Items

Collect 10 to receive an item. Lets you shoot up to 10 Wave-Action Bullets.
Adds bonus points to your score. Raises attack power for about 30 seconds.
Restores 1 unit of life. Makes you temporarily invincible.
Restores 4 units of life. Pick it up to automatically clear a stage.
Restores 10 units of life. Increases the # of continues you have by 1.
