It's been two years since "ARNOLD" and "SONYA" were both transformed into a Shockman and started fighting the evil army.
Receiving a message from the Professor to "return to their bodies", the two head for his laboratory, where they are ambushed by a mysterious enemy.
After narrowly defeating the enemy, they catch a public TV news flash announcing the "RYO EMPIRE" invasion of Earth. Rushing to the laboratory, they find that the Professor's been abducted. With the Professor gone and both of them unable to return to their bodies, they set out to rescue him from the grips of evil.

All 8 stages are divided into "Action Stages" and "Shooting Stages".

Press up/down on to decide the number of players and left/right to select your character.

After it's GAME OVER, press at the Title Screen to continue from a certain point.
(You cannot continue the first stage.)

Actions

Aerial Shot	Press while holding up on to attack upwards.
Shockbeam	Hold until Shockman begins to flash. Release to unleash a powerful Shockbeam.
Team Shockbeam	Two-player technique. Both players hold to power-up their energy, then one player shoots a Shockbeam at the other. If the receiving player releases right at that moment, an even stronger Shockbeam is fired. (A ball of fire is shot if the timing is incorrect.) The effect of this attack is different depending on which player starts the attack.
Super Technique	When you have the "Bit" item, hold until Shockman glows white. Release to perform a powerful super technique. Each character has a different super technique.
Entrances	Press up on when in front of an entrance to proceed.

Items

	Black Batteries	Restores your entire Life Gauge.
	Red Batteries	Restores some of your Life Gauge.
	Bit	Lets you use your super technique.
